Delta Class: Δrticulated Girl

Δ The First Lesson

She is imagined, created, and lost

When the Articulated Girl first wakes up, she is asked the following questions.

• You are made of many parts. Where do they disconnect from each other?

• There was a flaw in your creation. What do you long for that can only be granted by others?

• There is a you within you, a spark that remains and remains and remains. Where is she kept?

Δ Segmented

She no longer recognizes one of the pieces as her own

The Articulated Girl can replace pieces with new Segments, up to a total number of Segments equal to her current level. A Segment can be a replica, a heavy modification of a pre-existing piece, or something else entirely, so long as it can generally do the same things as the piece its replacing. The replacement process takes a long rest, and she will take meaningful damage if nobody helps her.

New Segments must be assigned one of the following descriptions, and the Articulated Girl may reroll any action that would fulfill the purpose of one of her Segments.

• something Acceptable, for understanding what is wanted of her

• something Childish, for breaking

• something Clever, for thinking more than she should 

• something Contradictory, for doing something allowed, but not accepted

• something Delicate, for hiding her true intention

• something Embroidered, for taking meaningful time on something that could have been rushed

• something Floral, for distinguishing between what she needs and what she wants

• something Gilded, for proving her value to a stranger

• something Gleaned, for finding beautiful and forgotten things

• something Referential, for leveraging her inspirations, sources, or ancestry

• something Sharp, for lashing out

• something Sincere, for drawing forth tears from herself and others

• something Soft, for reducing harm to what she cherishes

• something Vibrant, for drawing attention to her best traits

• something Warm, for guiding someone like her

Δ Idealist

She replaces the same piece with at least 5 different Segments

She is loved as her worst self

The Articulated Girl may assign two descriptions to any new Segments.

Δ Falling Apart

She is trusted, cherished, and then abandoned

When the Articulated Girl exposes her spark around others, everyone who would give up something they love to keep her safe heal 1/4th of their HP. Those who wouldn't instead heal to full, and the Articulated Girl takes meaningful damage.
